Hungerford’s award-winning health boutique Tonic has a double celebration this month with its third birthday and the launch of its new online arm.

Having enjoyed great success since opening its doors at the 2010 Victorian Extravaganza the Bridge Street-based boutique is now launching to ensure that orders can be taken from all over the UK.
The launch comes in the same week that Tonic celebrates its third anniversary. As a child, Tonic owner Anneliese Setchell often used to walk past the premises and had dreamed of opening her own health food shop there. After training as a nutritionist and working alongside foremost fertility doctors in London, she decided the time was right to make her dream a reality and now supplies vitamins, homeopathy, sports nutrition alongside gluten and dairy-free foods from the shop.
With her two staff, also professional nutritionists, Anneliese additionally offers specialist clinics at Tonic for anyone who wants to treat their illness through diet.

Anneliese said: “We’re thrilled about the latest phase in the business which will allow us to reach a much larger customer base who will benefit from the specialist knowledge and passion of our team. It’s been a wonderful three years, with many highlights including being the runner-up in the national Telegraph award for best health boutique. We’d like to thank all of our loyal customers in the Hungerford community for supporting our independent shop.”
